Job Requirements
- minimum 21 years of age
- minimum 1 year experience preferred in a similar role in the Vegas market
- effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- outstanding guest service skills
- excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
- ability to meet or exceed goals and customer service standards
- comfortable exchanging names with customers
- positive and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- proficiency in computer and calculator use
- ability to perform basic arithmetic quickly and accurately
- ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, overnights, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, detail-oriented environment
- physical ability to lift/move objects up to 10 pounds frequently and occasionally over 40 pounds with assistance
- hearing sufficient to hear conversational levels in person and over the telephone
- speech sufficient to make oneself understood in person, groups, and over the telephone
- willingness to work in a climate-controlled retail setting inside a casino where exposure to secondhand smoke may occur
Job Qualifications
- minimum 21 years of age
- minimum 1 year experience preferred, performing same or similar job functions in the Vegas market, preferably at mid-level to luxury hospitality resorts
- ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
- outstanding guest service skills
- excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
- must have the ability to meet or exceed goals, as well as excel in customer service standards
- must be comfortable exchanging names with customers
- ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- able to successfully use computers and calculators
- ability to compute basic mathematical calculations quickly and accurately (add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers)
Job Duties
- exceed the guests’ needs by asking open-ended questions with the intent of assisting guests with an itinerary
- be knowledgeable and confident about all of the Palms venues and proactively sell Palms restaurants, events, nightlife, merchandise, and experiences
- provide outstanding guest service to all guests with an enthusiastic greeting and engage in friendly conversation, while educating, informing and focusing on each guest to drive performance results
- obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies
- document and assist with all guest questions, requests, complaints or problems
- maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent property data
- remain knowledgeable at all times of all property features, services, and hours of operation
- perform other duties as assigned
