Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in customer service or healthcare support
  • proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced work environment
  • commitment to patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
  • willingness to work part-time from 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm
  • ability to stand or sit for extended periods and perform light physical activity

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a healthcare or customer service role
  • proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
  • knowledge of medical terminology preferred

Job Duties

  • Welcome patients and visitors warmly, create a positive first impression
  • verify patient information and assist with check-in/check-out processes
  • direct patients to the appropriate department or healthcare provider
  • address inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally
  • access and update patient records using EMR system
  • schedule or confirm appointments as necessary
  • collaborate with front desk staff and other team members to ensure smooth patient flow
  • maintain an organized and welcoming reception area
  • adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
  • follow clinic protocols and procedures
