Job Requirements
- minimum of two years experience in hospitality with a luxury brand
- possess a valid passport and C1/D seaman's visa (DCL will assist with obtaining these documents)
- complete a pre-employment medical check
- obtain a criminal background check
- prepare approved work shoes
- willingness to fulfill safety roles and emergency responsibilities as stated in the ship assembly plan
- comfortable sharing a cabin with other crew members and appreciating a multicultural environment with strict regulations
- must undergo drug/alcohol testing within the first week on board and throughout contracts
- genuine interest in a career at sea and willingness to live and work on board a Disney Cruise Line vessel
Job Qualifications
- minimum of two years experience in hospitality with a luxury brand
- proficiency in multiple languages including english spanish french portuguese mandarin japanese hindi arabic tagalog bahasa or malay is a plus
- leadership and concierge experience with a strong understanding of proper etiquette
- excellent communication skills with a proven track record of outstanding service
- self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- skilled in building relationships across departments
- prior experience on a ship is preferred
Job Duties
- provide dedicated service to concierge guests assisting with personalized itinerary planning special bookings event planning and any specific requests such as spa or dining reservations
- deliver unparalleled personalized service while actively engaging with concierge guests in 32 to 154 staterooms each day demonstrating integrity and efficiency
- oversee the concierge lounge operations ensuring all food and beverage offerings are seamless and that cleanliness and maintenance standards are met
- create a welcoming and fun atmosphere for all guests by ensuring timely execution of their requests
- build strong relationships across various departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- coordinate and manage concierge lounge staff and daily operations
- fulfill safety roles and emergency responsibilities as stated in the ship assembly plan
