Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior experience in customer service or guest relations preferred
  • Exceptional customer service and guest relations skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to solve problems effectively and handle guest complaints professionally
  • Excellent recommendation skills
  • Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems
  • In-depth knowledge of Charleston, WV
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry light items
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet and assist guests promptly and courteously
  • Address guest inquiries and requests efficiently
  • Provide information about local attractions, restaurants, transportation, and activities
  • Handle guest requests and complaints with professionalism and effective problem-solving skills
  • Make recommendations for dining, entertainment, and sightseeing based on guest preferences and expert knowledge of the area
  • Utilize the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized concierge desk
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest service
