- Prior experience in customer service or guest relations preferred
- Exceptional customer service and guest relations skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to solve problems effectively and handle guest complaints professionally
- Excellent recommendation skills
- Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems
- In-depth knowledge of Charleston, WV
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry light items
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications

- Greet and assist guests promptly and courteously
- Address guest inquiries and requests efficiently
- Provide information about local attractions, restaurants, transportation, and activities
- Handle guest requests and complaints with professionalism and effective problem-solving skills
- Make recommendations for dining, entertainment, and sightseeing based on guest preferences and expert knowledge of the area
- Utilize the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized concierge desk
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest service
