Job Requirements

  • Must have 1 year of security experience
  • must have prior front gate experience at a residential community
  • ABDI required
  • must have reliable transportation
  • must be able to commit to the schedule you choose

Job Qualifications

  • Security D license required
  • FL driver's license required
  • 1 year security experience
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
  • exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
  • ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Job Duties

  • Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible
  • resolve customer complaints
  • assist customers in all inquiries in connection with site services, hours of operations, directions, etc.
  • check in/out guests in an efficient and friendly manner
  • receive incoming telephone or alarm system calls regarding emergency and non-emergency situations
  • monitor and operate security video system to observe and detect potential issues
  • report maintenance or equipment problems to appropriate personnel
  • generate reports for theft, alarms, maintenance issues and other incidents that may occur in an efficient manner
  • always maintain a professional image and friendly demeanor
  • make periodic patrols to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons
