Job Requirements
- Must have one year of security experience in a concierge environment
- must have prior front gate experience at a residential community
- ABDI required
- must have prior front desk experience in a commercial building
- must have reliable transportation
- must be able to commit to the scheduled shifts
- must be able to pass pre-employment screening including background and drug tests
- must be physically able to perform tasks including crawling, crouching, climbing stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping, and walking for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- valid FL Security D License
- valid FL driver’s license
- professional demeanor and appearance
- basic computer skills
- ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- minimum of one year of security experience
- ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening
Job Duties
- Acknowledge and greet all guests in a prompt and courteous manner
- manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespassers or violators from premises when necessary
- verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles
- document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor's arrival
- assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures
- monitor and detect any suspicious behavior to help prevent vandalism, theft, and other criminal activity
- monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
- patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks
- warn violators of infractions such as loitering, smoking, or possession of prohibited items
- respond to calls of distress, alarms, and emergencies by contacting local first responders
- identify and report safety and security concerns promptly
- ensure accuracy and timely submission of reports and documentation
- enforce all rules and regulations
- perform other duties as assigned by operations
