Job Requirements
- Must have one year of security experience in a concierge environment
- Must have prior front gate experience at a residential community
- Must have ABDI (Additional Background and Driver's Investigation) required
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to commit to the schedule
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug test)
- Must be physically able to perform job duties including occasional crawling, crouching, climbing stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods
Job Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- Valid FL Security D License
- Valid FL Driver's License
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Minimum of one year of security experience
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
Job Duties
- Acknowledge and greet all guests in a prompt and courteous manner
- Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespassers or violators from premises when deemed necessary
- Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles
- Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor's arrival
- Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures
- Monitor and detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and other criminal behavior
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
- Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks
- Warn violators of infractions such as loitering, smoking and possession of prohibited items
- Respond to calls of distress, alarms and emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders
- Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner
- Ensure accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents)
- Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed
- Perform other duties as determined by operations
