Job Requirements
- Must have one year of security experience in a concierge environment
- must have prior front gate experience at a residential community - ABDI required
- must have prior front desk experience in a commercial building
- must have reliable transportation
- must be able to commit to the schedule
Job Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- valid FL Security D license
- valid FL driver's license
- professional demeanor and appearance
- basic computer skills
- must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
- strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- minimum of one year of security experience
- must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
Job Duties
- Acknowledge and greet all guests in a prompt and courteous manner
- manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespassers or violators from premises when deemed necessary
- verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles
- document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor's arrival
- assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures
- monitor and detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft or other criminal behavior
- monitor surveillance cameras and alarms
- patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks
- warn violators of infractions such as loitering, smoking and/or possession of prohibited items
- respond to calls of distress, alarms and/or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders
- identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner
- ensure accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents)
- ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed
- other duties to be determined by operations
