Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving history
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Genuine interest in working with seniors
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including sitting, standing, walking, bending, climbing stairs occasionally, and manual dexterity
  • Ability to adhere to community policies and dress code
  • Computer experience preferred

  • Experience working with senior populations preferred
  • Computer literacy preferred
  • Ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff

Job Duties

  • Greet and assist residents, guests, family members, vendors, and prospects as they enter
  • Ensure hospitality station is prepared with refreshments
  • Answer telephone calls, transfer calls, take messages, use on-hold function and paging
  • Assist residents and family members during the admission process
  • Provide tours to prospective residents and support marketing efforts
  • Deliver and distribute mail to residents and department directors
  • Assist in the dining room and special events as requested
  • Transport residents to appointments and activities using the community vehicle
  • Assist with activities as directed by the Executive Director
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as filing
  • Maintain lobby cleanliness and appeal
  • Report maintenance issues
  • Adhere to community policies and dress code
  • Support resident rights, privacy, and confidentiality
