Job Requirements

  • Must have a caring heart willing to serve others
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two years general office experience including reception experience
  • Experience working with the older adult population preferred
  • Professional and polished with proper grammar skills and pleasant voice tone
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, time management and oral/written skills
  • Ability to work in team environment
  • Must be attentive to details and able to multi-task and work with multiple interruptions
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word preferred
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred
  • Ability to work flexible schedules in 24-hour operation including weekends and holidays as requested

Job Duties

  • Stand, greet and assist residents, family members, guests, vendors and prospects as they enter
  • Ensure hospitality station is ready with coffee, cold drinks
  • Offer a high level of hospitality to all guests and employees
  • Answer telephone including transferring, taking messages, utilizing on-hold function and paging
  • Ensure phone and in-person inquiries are directed appropriately and not to voicemail
  • Adhere to community phone etiquette policy
  • Assist with hospitality services as needed or directed by General Manager or Manager-On-Duty
  • Assist residents and family members during the admission process
  • Provide tours to prospects and assist with marketing efforts as directed by Executive Director
  • Deliver and distribute mail to residents and department directors
  • Assist in the dining room and during special events as requested by Executive Director
  • Assist with activities as directed by Executive Director
  • Maintain company dress code, wear identification badge and promote a positive and professional image
  • Support General Manager with general administrative functions such as filing
  • Perform all other duties supporting community programs and services
  • Adhere and support QSL Management policies and procedures
  • Ensure lobby is clean, appealing and in good order
  • Report maintenance issues to General Manager
