Job Requirements

  • High school diploma preferred
  • minimum of 3 years in a customer-oriented position preferably in healthcare
  • bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred
  • ability to communicate clearly in English
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • ability to remain calm and act appropriately in unusual circumstances
  • adherence to professional standards and confidentiality
  • ability to participate in meetings and in-services
  • commitment to a safe working environment

Job Qualifications

  • proficiency in clerical and administrative support tasks

Job Duties

  • Greet all visitors and provide assistance as needed
  • provide concierge service to residents, families, and guests and arrange or coordinate any services needed
  • answer incoming calls and direct calls or inquiries to the appropriate department or individual with excellent customer service skills
  • take and distribute messages, provide information on services, and answer inquiries about community events
  • maintain an ample supply of materials to be distributed upon request
  • provide service recovery as necessary to residents and families according to established guidelines
  • communicate concerns about resident status, needs, or adjustment reactions to Nurse Manager and support departments
  • ensure resident records are up to date including photographs
  • perform tours for guests as requested
  • perform clerical or administrative support as requested
  • attend department meetings and in-services as needed
