Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Ability to clearly communicate in English
  • Effective response skills to questions from various stakeholders
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Proficiency with general computer skills and Microsoft Office Applications
  • Appreciation of seniors and knowledge about aging process
  • Professional and friendly demeanor at all times

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Ability to clearly communicate with residents, employees, resident families, and visitors in English
  • Ability to effectively respond to questions from employees, managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Ability to identify problems and use problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Must possess general computer skills and be familiar with Microsoft Office Applications
  • Must possess a general appreciation of seniors and an understanding of the aging process
  • Professional appearance at all times and friendly interaction with others

Job Duties

  • Answer incoming telephone calls
  • Greet visitors as they enter the community
  • Assist in the maintenance of files
  • Schedule car and bus for resident use
  • Schedule salon appointments
  • Prepare maintenance work orders and ensure prompt delivery
  • Answer residents' requests for sundry items and ensure prompt delivery and accurate accounting
  • Maintain supply of greeting cards and stamps for resident use and ensure accurate accounting
  • Locate staff to perform valet service for residents as needed
  • Monitor security cameras as first-responder to resident's Emergency Response System
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
