Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English
- basic computer literacy including proficiency with Outlook, Excel and Word
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends or holidays as needed
- good interpersonal skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
- reliable and punctual
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- willingness to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination unless exempt
- ability to stand for extended periods
- basic knowledge of safety and security procedures
Job Qualifications
- Three months of related experience preferred
- ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English
- highly proficient computer skills including Outlook, Excel and Word
- compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic and helpful
- ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- ability to make independent decisions when warranted
- maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward residents and co-workers
Job Duties
- Greet residents and provide general assistance to visitors, prospective residents and families
- answer telephone calls
- monitor surveillance cameras, door alarms, life safety systems and building alarms and investigate unusual activity
- process reports for work orders, incidents and concerns
- receive packages, plants, prescription drugs and deliver or hold as requested
- maintain sign in/out log for community keys and gate passes
- assist other departments with administrative functions
- respond timely to resident, family and employee concerns
- maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors and co-workers
