- must read, write, speak and understand English
- computer literate

Job Duties
- Smiles and extends a warm and friendly welcome to everyone entering the community
- offers visitors something to drink and/or eat if they wait in the lobby
- answers all incoming telephone calls and directs them to the proper department personnel
- receives inquiries from visitors, residents, family members, and employees and directs them appropriately
- maintains current list of residents and resident registry
- receives requests for maintenance work, completes work orders, and submits them to maintenance
- maintains daily check on all residents
- maintains a resident absentee register
- records sign-in and sign-out of outside contractors, deliverymen, service personnel, and visitors in a daily journal
- makes copies on copy machines for residents and staff as appropriate
- sends fax copies for residents and staff as necessary
- keeps record of all cash received at the front desk and submits it to bookkeeping monthly
- performs any other tasks, assignments, projects, or requests as directed by management
- appropriately addresses every individual leaving the community as per management instructions
