Job Requirements

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
  • Availability to work from 11 am to 7:30 pm
  • Professional dress code observed
  • Ability to work part-time
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with elderly residents and their families
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Experience working in a senior living or healthcare environment preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and professionally

Job Duties

  • Greet and direct all guests in a friendly and helpful manner
  • Answer all incoming calls, routing them to the appropriate resource, or taking messages as needed
  • Organize incoming mail and ensure that it is distributed to the appropriate person
  • Respond to resident and family member questions and communicate important information with the Executive Director or MOD as appropriate
  • Maintain guest logs and community resource information
  • Respond and appropriately handle emergency situations that may arise in a calm, professional and effective manner
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the front lobby and entrance areas
  • Perform other responsibilities as needed
