Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to three years of related experience and/or training
- Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Able to write simple correspondence
- Able to effectively present information to customers, clients, and employees
- Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide basic numbers
- Able to apply common sense to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three years related experience and/or training
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to present information clearly in one-on-one and small group situations
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions
- Ability to operate telephone systems, emergency call systems, photocopiers, and other office equipment
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Adaptability to varying customer needs and changing priorities
Job Duties
- Answer incoming telephone calls in a cheerful and marketing oriented way
- Determine purpose of callers and forward calls to appropriate personnel or department
- Fill out sales inquiry cards for Community Relations Director
- Take and deliver messages or transfer calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel unavailable
- Answer general questions about the community and provide address, directions, and other information
- Welcome on-site visitors, determine nature of business, and announce visitors to appropriate personnel
- Coordinate guestroom reservations
- Receive, sort, and route mail, and maintain and route publications
- Maintain copy and fax machines, assist users, send faxes, and retrieve and route incoming faxes
- Create and print fax cover sheets, memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents when necessary
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and collating
- Collect rent checks from residents and family members and provide information to Business Office Manager and Executive Director
- Collect money for meal tickets and other transactions
- Perform other duties as assigned
