Job Requirements
- Must be an existing employee of South Shore Health applying through the internal career site
- Ability to work varied shifts Monday through Friday
- Must be able to start early shifts at 5:30 am
- No weekend or holiday availability required
- Basic computer skills
- Strong social and communication skills
- Ability to maintain composure in difficult situations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated strong social and communication skills
- Ability to exercise excellent judgment in stressful situations
- Experience in hospitality or patient services preferred
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Provide appropriate hospitality and concierge services to patients, families and visitors in the Dolphin Surgery Center
- Represent South Shore Hospital professionally to all audiences maintaining a positive hospital image
- Utilize basic computer skills to support operational tasks
- Exhibit highly developed social and communication skills to interact effectively with diverse groups
- Maintain excellent judgment and remain calm and level-headed in difficult or sensitive situations
- Work varied shifts from Monday to Friday with no weekends or holidays
- Be available to start shifts as early as 5:30 am
