Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- two years of hospitality experience or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- knowledge of hospitality industry principles, practices and techniques
- familiarity with Kiawah, Charleston and surrounding area
- proficiency in computer software applications including word processing, spreadsheets and resort information systems
- understanding of department policies and procedures
- strong customer service skills
- ability to communicate effectively
- available to work 30-40 hours per week
- able to work flexible hours including weekends and opening or closing shifts
- capable of handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines

Job Duties
- Role model exemplary customer service
- ensure the team provides fast, friendly, and accurate service
- perform as central information agent for the resort
- identify owner/guest needs and provide information regarding policies, services and amenities
- operate the resort telephone system to resort standards
- post charges and payments to owner/guest and house accounts
- prepare current or next day arrival lists, packets and amenities
- inventory and replenish required supplies
- fulfill owner/guest requests as needed
- schedule and confirm restaurant, recreational or other bookings
- schedule and coordinate area transportation to and from local attractions
- assist with loading/unloading luggage and personal items
- coordinate amenities based on next day arrivals
- use and maintain accurate concierge system information
- establish and execute traces and conduct pre-arrival reaching out
- assist with cleanliness of work area
- facilitate sending owner/guest packages with correct address and payment
- observe safety precautions to protect resort and guest property
- show courteous and cooperative behavior with public and staff
- perform all duties assigned by management
- promptly handle customer issues with calm and concern
- measure customer satisfaction and execute improvement plans
- communicate effectively with owners and coworkers
- work flexible hours including weekends and shifts
