Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • At least one year of related work experience
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
  • Ability to navigate sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs
  • Ability to reach overhead, below the knees, bend, twist, pull, and stoop
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain professional appearance
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year of related work experience in hospitality or event coordination
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Basic knowledge of safety and security procedures

Job Duties

  • Meet group coordinator or hostess prior to functions to make introductions and ensure all arrangements are agreeable
  • Read and analyze banquet event orders to gather guest information and determine proper setup and timelines
  • Respond to and fulfill special banquet event arrangements
  • Follow up on special banquet event arrangements to ensure compliance
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, report accidents and unsafe conditions
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
  • Speak clearly and professionally and answer telephones using proper etiquette
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with team members
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
