Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • two or more years of work experience in related job discipline
  • ability to communicate effectively with patients families and staff
  • proficiency with technology and social media platforms
  • ability to coordinate logistics and manage relationships with external vendors and community organizations
  • willingness to work day shift from 6am to 2:30pm
  • commitment to upholding hospital policies and procedures

  • proficiency in use of social media and data management tools

Job Duties

  • provide or arrange services to guests including transportation accommodation and local activities
  • make proactive contact with families to assess and address needs prior to arrival
  • monitor arrival of out-of-town guests ensuring safe transfer to care providers
  • intake and resolve family concerns related to non-clinical visit aspects delegating when necessary
  • coordinate lodging and transportation for international families collaborating with Global Health and Interpreter Services
  • serve as conduit to hospital and external resources keeping updated on policies and events
  • manage patient shuttle in collaboration with transportation
  • maintain relationships with external establishments and community organizations
  • use social media and internal resources to market services and communicate with families
  • manage guest services social media pages
  • document and manage inquiries and data related to family requests and appointments
  • assist with department statistics and reporting
  • assist in planning implementing and coordinating family events ensuring safety and infection control compliance
  • provide point of sale education and maintain safety resource center operations
  • collaborate on special projects conferences educational programs and company-wide initiatives
