Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two plus years of work experience in a related job discipline
- Availability to work 6am to 2:30pm shift
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Strong organizational skills

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years of work experience in a related discipline
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams

- Proficiency in managing data and social media platforms
- Experience in event planning or coordination is a plus
- Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively
Job Duties
- Provide or arrange services to guests including transportation, accommodations, activities, dining and shopping
- Make proactive contact with families to assess and address their needs prior to arrival
- Develop and carry out methods of contacting families regarding their visit
- Monitor arrival of out-of-town guests to ensure they reach internal destinations with care providers
- Intake family concerns and delegate appropriate resolution or direct to staff or vendors
- Check in with families to reassess needs and resolve problems
- Coordinate lodging and transportation for international families in collaboration with Global Health and Interpreter Services
- Serve as a conduit to all hospital resources and communicate updates to families and staff
- Develop awareness of local, regional, national, and international resources
- Maintain relationships with external businesses and community organizations
- Collaborate with MPS and Disaster Management for inclement weather lodging needs
- Manage Patient Shuttle in collaboration with Transportation
- Maintain relationships with external establishments to provide non-clinical support
- Forge new community relationships to benefit families
- Use social media to market services and manage Guest Services social media pages
- Manage and document information requests from families and staff
- Create solutions to resolve inquiries
- Maintain data for patient appointments and Ronald McDonald House room eligibility
- Assist with reporting of department statistics and trends
- Assist in planning, implementing, and coordinating events and programs for patients and families
- Ensure safety, security, and infection control guidelines are followed
- Provide point of sale education and maintain operations of the Safety Resource Center
- Collaborate on special projects, conferences, educational programs, and committees
- Participate in company-wide initiatives and provide recommendations to enhance patient experience and marketing
