Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or ged
  • customer service experience in the senior housing field preferred
  • ability to read, write and understand english
  • ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull and work continuously without sitting for extended periods
  • ability to lift or carry up to 20 pounds and push or pull carts weighing up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or ged
  • customer service experience preferably in senior housing
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to understand and follow community standards and procedures
  • ability to interact effectively with seniors and diverse populations
  • basic clerical and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • serve as the first point of contact for residents and visitors
  • perform a variety of clerical tasks including managing correspondence and phone calls
  • coordinate community activities
  • manage resident requests and provide timely support
  • interact professionally with residents, guests, family members and fellow team members
  • maintain a courteous, friendly and helpful demeanor consistent with The Sterling Touch® standards
  • handle administrative duties under direction of the Business Office Manager
