Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Proven experience in customer service
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
- Effective communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
- Willingness to adhere to safety and compliance protocols
- Ability to respond to emergencies according to policies
- Successful completion of drug testing and required health screenings
- Covid-19 and Influenza vaccinations as per applicable laws
- For team members who drive community vehicles, understanding and adherence to driver safety duties
- Commitment to team engagement and participation in training
- Ability to maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks
- Willingness to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Job Qualifications
- High school degree or GED
- Proven customer service experience and skills
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) and ability to learn new applications
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Good organizational, time management, and follow-through abilities
- Accurate record-keeping skills
- Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Experience with recruitment processes is a plus
- Knowledge of safety protocols and risk management preferred but not required.
Job Duties
- Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents, extend a warm welcome and greeting, offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests, ensure community safety protocols are in place
- Contact the Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to meet with prospective residents, families, or visitors and ensure wait times are minimal
- Greet potential candidates interested in Sunrise careers and direct or capture candidate information to initiate recruitment
- Answer incoming telephone calls and resident calls promptly with appropriate community greeting and identification
- Take complete messages and communicate them to intended recipients
- Offer and provide community information to callers, direct calls appropriately
- Manage appointments for residents and family members
- Send get well and sympathy cards to residents and families as needed
- Order flowers and name plates for new residents
- Create and maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
- Assist with customer relationship management and initial inquiries
- Maintain neat and organized desk and entry areas
- Monitor and replenish bistro snacks and beverages
- Ensure continuous music playing for a pleasant atmosphere
- Ensure front desk coverage when stepping away
- Partner with the community team to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Practice safety procedures including use of PPE and fire safety equipment
- Maintain resident and team member rosters and schedules for emergencies
- Respond to emergencies according to policies
- Ensure proper sign-in and sign-out of guests and residents
- Maintain high-risk elopement list at front desk
- Update phone lists, move-in/out registers, and guest logs
- Prepare and process meal tickets and money
- Organize and distribute mail and community newspapers
- Post daily menus
- Track and disperse team member paychecks
- Assist with recruitment data entry and administrative duties
- Monitor and order office supplies
- Participate actively as a team member
- Demonstrate adherence to Team Member Credo and Principles of Service
- Engage in team member surveys and meetings
- Maintain compliance with required training
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
