Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Post-secondary training in hospitality management is an asset
  • Must be able to read and write and understand oral and written instructions
  • Must possess a valid, unrestricted, and insurable Michigan Driver's License in good standing
  • Must always be clean, neat, and professional in appearance
  • Must have good interpersonal skills and customer service attributes
  • Must demonstrate customer-friendly demeanor and etiquette
  • Highly trustworthy and able to deal with confidential information
  • Strong knowledge of the local community, area, and region
  • Three years customer service experience
  • Hospital experience preferred
  • Computer proficiency including email and database management skills
  • Knowledge of a second language is an asset

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet guests in a cheerful and professional manner
  • Assess and anticipate guest's needs
  • Circulate throughout the hospital to ensure service exceeds expectations
  • Provide information to internal and external customers
  • Address and resolve customer feedback and challenges
  • Ensure all feedback responses comply with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain a customer-friendly demeanor and exhibit excellent etiquette
