Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Post secondary training in hospitality management is an asset
  • Ability to read and write and understand oral and written instructions
  • Possess a valid, unrestricted, and insurable Michigan Driver's License in good standing with three or fewer points
  • Maintain clean, neat, and professional appearance
  • Good interpersonal skills and customer service attributes
  • Demonstrate customer-friendly demeanor and etiquette
  • Highly trustworthy with ability to handle confidential information
  • Strong knowledge of local community, area, and region
  • Three years of customer service experience
  • Hospital experience preferred
  • Proficient in computer skills including email and database management
  • Knowledge of a second language is an asset

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet guests in a cheerful and professional manner
  • Assess and anticipate guests' needs
  • Circulate through the hospital to ensure patient and family service exceeds expectations
  • Provide accurate information to internal and external customers
  • Address customer feedback and challenges with professionalism
  • Ensure feedback responses comply with hospital policy and regulations
  • Maintain a customer-friendly demeanor and etiquette
