Job Requirements
- High school degree or GED
- Proven customer service experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related computer applications

Job Qualifications
- High school degree or GED
- Proven customer service experience and skills
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) and Sunrise applications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making abilities
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Experience working in a senior living or hospitality environment is beneficial
- Familiarity with risk management and safety protocols is advantageous
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and engage in community activities
- Commitment to upholding company values and service standards
- Knowledge of basic administrative procedures and data entry
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new software and systems

Job Duties
- Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents, extend a warm welcome and greeting, offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests, and ensure that the community safety protocols are in place
- Contact the Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to meet with prospective residents, families, or visitors and ensure minimal wait times
- Greet potential candidates interested in careers at Sunrise and direct them to apply online or record their information to launch recruitment
- Answer incoming telephone calls within two to three rings with appropriate greeting, take and communicate complete messages
- Provide community overview to callers, forward calls appropriately, and notify them of transfer
- Manage appointments for residents and family members such as hairdresser, transportation, etc.
- Send get well cards to residents in hospital and sympathy cards to families as needed
- Order flowers and nameplates for new residents and guest meals for move-in day
- Maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
- Support Director of Sales with lead tracking and resident move-in administrative duties
- Keep front desk and entry area neat and organized
- Monitor Bistro cleanliness, stock refreshments, maintain popcorn machine, and ensure music plays throughout the day
- Ensure coverage of front desk when stepping away
- Partner with community team for health and safety compliance and promote Risk Management programs
- Practice safety procedures including PPE usage and emergency protocols
- Maintain resident, team member rosters, and work schedules for emergencies
- Champion Safe Leaving Program and respond to emergencies per policy
- Maintain records of guest and resident sign-ins and elopement lists
- Update daily resident phone lists, rosters, and sign-in logs
- Prepare and process meal tickets and money in compliance with business controls
- Organize and distribute mail and community newspapers
- Post Daily Menu on Menu Board
- Maintain resident forms for credits and assist HR with recruitment data entry
- Monitor and order office supplies
- Track and disperse team member paychecks
- Participate actively in team engagement, demonstrate Team Member Credo and Principles of Service
- Attend meetings and maintain training compliance
- Perform other assigned duties.
