Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Less than one year related experience or training
- Ability to perform routine clerical work
- Ability to interact with residents, families, and visitors empathetically
- Ability to answer phones courteously
- Ability to assist with scheduling and paperwork
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols

Job Duties
- Interact with residents, families, and visitors with empathy, kindness, and respect
- Answer phones courteously with a welcoming attitude
- Schedule new hires and assist with new hire paperwork
- Assist the Business Office Manager as needed
- Receive and route incoming and outgoing mail
- Type correspondence as requested
- Respond promptly and courteously to residents' requests
- Greet families and visitors and direct them appropriately
- Answer questions about the community in the absence of the Sales Director
- Communicate effectively in a language residents understand
- Ensure residents sign out when leaving
- Follow written and verbal instructions
- Practice good body mechanics and safe working habits
- Report safety hazards immediately
- Address residents and families by name
- Follow policies and procedures in emergency situations
- Work as a team player with colleagues and management
- Maintain a positive and respectful attitude
- Comply with attendance policies
- Participate in trainings and meetings
- Adhere to the dress code
- Protect resident care privacy and refer inquiries to supervisors
- Follow HIPAA regulations
- Assist in training new employees
- Take initiative and offer solutions
- Handle special projects
- Perform housekeeping and laundry duties
- Assist residents in the dining room
- Perform other duties as assigned
