Job Requirements

  • High school degree or GED
  • Proven customer service skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer applications
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Willingness to comply with safety and risk management procedures
  • Ability to participate in required training programs
  • Completion and passing of drug screening
  • Compliance with vaccination mandates as applicable
  • Ability to work weekends 7 AM to 3 PM
  • Valid driver job description understanding if driving a Sunrise vehicle

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Oversee community entry area and greet visitors, guests, and residents
  • Provide beverages and ensure safety protocols are in place
  • Contact Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator for prospective residents and ensure minimal wait times
  • Greet potential job candidates and assist with recruitment process using Applicant Tracking System
  • Answer incoming telephone calls and respond within 2-3 rings with appropriate greeting
  • Take and communicate complete messages to intended recipients
  • Provide community overview to callers and transfer calls appropriately
  • Manage resident and family member appointments such as hairdresser and transportation
  • Send get well and sympathy cards to residents and families
  • Order memory flowers for residents who have passed away
  • Order flowers and name plates for new residents prior to move-in
  • Order guest meals for residents and families on move-in day
  • Maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
  • Support sales team with initial inquiries and lead tracking database entry
  • Perform administrative duties related to resident move-in process
  • Keep front desk and entry area neat and organized
  • Monitor and maintain Bistro area cleanliness and refreshments
  • Keep music playing throughout the day
  • Ensure coverage for front desk when away
  • Partner with community team on health and safety compliance and risk management
  • Practice safety procedures including PPE and emergency protocols
  • Maintain resident roster, team member roster, and work schedules for emergencies
  • Enforce safe leaving programs and maintain high-risk elopement lists
  • Respond to emergencies as per policies
  • Ensure signing in and out of guests and residents
  • Update resident phone lists, move-in/out registers, and guest logs
  • Prepare and tally meal tickets for dining services
  • Collect and process meal ticket money
  • Organize and distribute mail and newspapers
  • Post daily menu on menu board
  • Maintain resident credit forms
  • Assist with recruitment data entry and office supply monitoring
  • Track and disperse team member paychecks
  • Participate in team meetings and training
  • Demonstrate team member credo and service principles
  • Contribute to customer and team member engagement programs
  • Maintain training compliance
  • Perform other duties as assigned
