Job Requirements
- High School degree or GED
- proven customer service experience
- proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office and Sunrise applications
- ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- good organizational and time management skills
- accurate record keeping
- good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- ability to manage multiple priorities
- willingness to participate in required training and comply with safety and community protocols
- must pass drug testing (excluding marijuana)
- agree to health screenings including tuberculosis and physical evaluation as required
- meet vaccination requirements as mandated by applicable laws
- valid driver understanding if driving a Sunrise vehicle
- availability to work shifts as scheduled
Job Qualifications
- High School degree or GED
- proven customer service experience and skills
- proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) and Sunrise applications with ability to learn new software

- experience in safety or risk management is a plus
Job Duties
- Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents, extend a warm welcome and greeting, offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests, and ensure that community safety protocols are in place
- contact the Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to meet with prospective residents, families, or visitors and ensure minimal wait times
- greet potential candidates interested in Sunrise careers and direct them to apply online or capture candidate information into the Applicant Tracking System
- answer incoming telephone calls and resident calls promptly with the appropriate community greeting message and identification
- take complete messages and communicate to intended recipients
- provide community overview to callers, determine forwarding contacts, and notify callers
- manage appointments for residents and family members, such as hairdresser and transportation
- send get well cards to residents hospitalized and order memory flowers for residents who have passed away
- send sympathy cards to families or responsible parties
- order flowers and name plates for new residents prior to move-in
- order guest meals for residents and families on move-in day
- create and maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
- support the Director of Sales with inquiry calls and lead tracking database entry
- perform administrative duties related to resident move-ins
- keep front desk and entry area neat and organized
- monitor the Bistro area for cleanliness, refreshments, and ambiance
- ensure continuous music playing and proper coverage at the front desk
- partner with community team to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and risk management policies
- practice safety procedures including PPE, fire extinguishers, SDS, and Lockout Tagout
- maintain resident and team member rosters and work schedules for emergency procedures
- champion the Safe Leaving Program to ensure resident safety
- respond appropriately to emergencies according to policies
- oversee guest and resident sign-in and sign-out
- maintain high-risk elopement list with photographs
- update daily resident phone lists, rosters, and guest logs
- prepare and process meal tickets and payments according to procedures
- organize and distribute mail and newspapers
- post daily menus
- maintain resident credit forms and assist with recruitment data entry
- monitor and order office supplies
- track and distribute team member paychecks
- actively participate in team engagement programs, meetings, and required training
- demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- perform other duties as assigned
