Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- able to read, write, and understand English
- able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
- able to remain calm during emergency situations
- able to deal professionally with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public
- knowledgeable of administrative practices, processes, and guidelines
- experience using Microsoft computer software
- have patience, professionalism, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm

Job Duties
- Greet visitors seeking information about the property
- be responsive to the needs of people who inquire about the property and/or who are in the building for meetings with administrative personnel
- direct visitors to appropriate office or resident apartment
- assist residents, family members, and guests with general requests
- arrange for tours of the property for individuals making spontaneous visits or those that have made an appointment
- answer telephones, record and channel information
- display knowledge of the services and programs and other pertinent information regarding the property
- manage mail meter, stamps, making copies, and other tasks related to office operations
- process incoming mail
- sort and distribute mail to mailboxes
- maintain reception area in neat and orderly fashion
- ensure reception desk and lobby have current property literature and refreshments
- perform clerical duties for property staff as directed
- assist in dining room serving resident meals as requested
- support marketing efforts through positive and friendly interaction
- communicate any observed or suspected resident change of condition immediately
- maintain a safe work environment following safety standards
- encourage teamwork through cooperation with co-workers
- support a positive and professional image through actions and dress
- perform other duties consistent with the position as assigned
