Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents, extend a warm welcome and greeting, offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests, and ensure that the community safety protocols are in place
  • Contact the Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to meet with prospective residents, families, or visitors and ensure minimal wait times
  • Greet potential candidates interested in Sunrise careers and direct them to apply online or capture their information in the Applicant Tracking System to launch recruitment
  • Answer incoming telephone calls and resident calls promptly with the appropriate community greeting and identification
  • Take complete messages and communicate them to intended recipients
  • Offer and provide community overviews to callers and direct them to the appropriate staff member
  • Manage appointments for residents and family members such as hairdresser and transportation
  • Send get well cards to residents in the hospital and sympathy cards to families as needed
  • Order Memory Flower for deceased residents
  • Order flowers and name plates for new residents before move-in
  • Order guest meals for resident and family on move-in day
  • Create and maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
  • Support the Director of Sales with initial inquiry calls and Customer Relationship Management lead tracking
  • Keep desk and entry area neat and organized
  • Monitor Bistro area for cleanliness, refreshments, music, and restock as needed
  • Partner with community team to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Practice safety procedures including PPE, fire extinguishers, SDS, and Lockout Tagout
  • Maintain resident and team member rosters and schedules for emergency procedures
  • Champion the Safe Leaving Program to ensure resident safety
  • Update resident phone list, move-in/move-out register, and sign-in logs
  • Prepare meal tickets and tally meal count sheets
  • Collect and process meal ticket money according to procedures
  • Organize and distribute mail and newspapers
  • Post Daily Menu on Menu Board
  • Assist with recruitment process data entry and general administrative duties
  • Monitor and order office supplies
  • Track and disperse team member paychecks
  • Participate actively as a team member and contribute to team goals
  • Maintain compliance with required training and perform other duties as assigned
