Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- CPR or BLS certification preferred
- Proficiency in internet browsers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to handle clerical and administrative tasks
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to engage in conflict resolution
- Flexibility to work weekends
- Physical ability to stand, move, and lift up to 50 pounds independently and up to 200 pounds with assistance
- Pass background and drug tests
- Participate in testing requirements such as TB
- Use designated personal protective equipment when required
Job Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferably in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or similar setting
- CPR or BLS certification preferred
- Proficiency in internet browsers such as Explorer, Chrome, or Firefox
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Publisher
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and HR related systems if applicable
Job Duties
- Welcoming residents, visitors, and guests, providing exceptional customer service and assistance to those entering the community
- Monitoring the community's entry and exit points, signing in guests and residents, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols
- Regularly engaging with residents helping them feel valued and cared for
- Receiving and distributing mail and packages
- Managing external and internal calls, taking and communicating messages, as well as forwarding calls to the appropriate person/department
- Assisting the Executive Director and Business Office Manager with clerical/administrative duties, as well as assisting the Sales and Marketing team with taking sales inquiries, as needed
- Assisting residents with scheduling personal transportation services and making reservations for various community events in conjunction with Life Enrichment Director
- Managing sale of guest meals and initiating credit card transactions when necessary
- Submitting all work order requests to Maintenance on behalf of residents
- Monitoring emergency response system and fire alarm panel
- Ensuring effective communication is utilized by community staff with residents' families concerning residents' care
- Working well with others and taking direction from management, as well as engaging in conflict intervention and resolution
- Remaining flexible and able to work weekends when necessary
- Performing other job-related duties assigned by management staff
