Job Requirements
- High school degree or GED
- Proven customer service experience and skills
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office and Sunrise applications
- Ability to learn new applications
- Understanding of safety and risk management policies
- Ability to respond to emergencies per company procedures
- Willingness to comply with drug testing and health screening requirements
- Covid-19 and influenza vaccination compliance as mandated by law
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Availability to cover front desk duties
- Ability to operate within company policies and standards
- If driving a company vehicle, ability to sign and understand driver responsibilities and safety

Job Qualifications
- High school degree or GED
- Proven customer service experience and skills
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office applications (Windows, Outlook, Excel) and Sunrise software
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Good organizational, time management, and follow-through skills
- Accurate record-keeping abilities

- Ability to participate actively in team environments and commit to service principles
- Experience with data entry and administrative tasks
- Training compliance with state or provincial regulations relevant to the role.
Job Duties
- Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents, extend a warm welcome and greeting, offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests, and ensure that the community safety protocols are in place
- Contact the Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to meet with prospective residents, families, or visitors and ensure wait times are minimal
- Greet potential candidates interested in learning more about Sunrise careers and job openings and direct candidates to apply online or capture candidate information into the Applicant Tracking System
- Answer incoming telephone calls and resident calls promptly with the appropriate community greeting message and identification
- Take complete messages with pertinent information and communicate messages to the intended recipient
- Offer and provide a community overview to callers, determine who to transfer to, and notify callers accordingly
- Manage appointments for residents and family members including hairdresser and transportation
- Send get well and sympathy cards to residents and families as needed
- Order flowers, name plates, and guest meals for new residents
- Create and maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
- Assist the Director of Sales with inquiry calls and lead tracking database entry
- Maintain cleanliness and stock in the front desk and Bistro area, including the popcorn machine
- Partner with the community team to comply with health and safety regulations and promote risk management programs
- Maintain Resident and Team Member Rosters and current work schedules for emergency procedures
- Respond to emergencies per established policies
- Ensure guests and residents sign in and out properly and monitor entry and exit especially for high-risk residents
- Update resident phone list, move-in and move-out registers, guest and sign-in logs
- Prepare meal tickets and collect money in accordance with business procedures
- Organize and distribute mail and newspapers
- Post daily menus and maintain miscellaneous credit forms
- Assist with recruitment data entry and office supply management
- Track and disperse team member paychecks
- Participate actively as a team member and commit to team goals
- Demonstrate Team Member Credo and Principles of Service
- Engage in customer and team member engagement activities
- Attend meetings and maintain training compliance
- Perform other assigned duties.
