Job Duties
- Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents, extend a warm welcome and greeting, offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests, ensure community safety protocols are in place
- Contact the DOS, ED, or Department Coordinator to meet with prospective residents, families, or visitors and ensure wait times are minimal
- Greet potential candidates interested in learning more about Sunrise careers and direct them to apply online or capture their information into the Applicant Tracking System
- Answer incoming telephone and resident calls within two-three rings with appropriate greeting and identification
- Take complete messages and communicate them to the intended recipient
- Offer and provide a community overview to callers and direct them appropriately
- Manage appointments for residents and family members
- Send get well and sympathy cards as appropriate
- Order Memory Flower for residents who have passed away
- Order flowers and name plates for new residents prior to move-in
- Order guest meals for residents and families on move-in day
- Create and maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
- Support DOS by handling inquiry calls and updating Customer Relationship Management lead tracking
- Keep desk and entry area neat and organized
- Monitor bistro cleanliness and refreshments, maintaining music and snacks
- Ensure coverage at front desk when away
- Partner with community team to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements
- Practice safety procedures including PPE, fire extinguishers, SDS, and Lockout Tagout
- Maintain resident and team member rosters and work schedules for emergencies
- Champion Safe Leaving Program and manage resident sign-in and sign-out protocols
- Respond to emergencies as per policies
- Update resident phone lists, rosters, and logs
- Prepare and tally meal tickets
- Collect and process meal ticket money
- Organize and distribute mail and newspapers
- Post and display Daily Menu
- Maintain resident forms for miscellaneous credits
- Assist BOC/HR Designee with recruitment data entry and other assigned administrative duties
- Monitor and order office supplies
- Track and disperse team member paychecks
- Participate actively in team engagement programs and meetings
- Maintain compliance with required training
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
