Job Requirements

  • High school degree or GED
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office and proprietary applications
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Accurate record-keeping abilities
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents, extending a warm welcome and offering refreshments
  • Contact the Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to assist prospective residents, families, or visitors and minimize wait times
  • Greet potential candidates interested in careers at Sunrise and direct them to apply or enter their information into the Applicant Tracking System
  • Answer incoming telephone and resident calls promptly with appropriate greetings and manage messages efficiently
  • Provide community overviews to callers, manage appointment scheduling for residents and family members
  • Send get well and sympathy cards to residents and families
  • Maintain and organize the front desk and Bistro area ensuring cleanliness, refreshments, and ambiance
  • Support sales and marketing efforts by managing move-in processes and maintaining marketing materials
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, practice safety protocols, and maintain emergency rosters and procedures
  • Perform administrative duties including updating resident phone lists, handling meal tickets, managing mail distribution, ordering office supplies, and supporting recruitment data entry
  • Participate actively in team meetings, training, and engagement initiatives to support team goals and community standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
