Job Requirements

  • High school degree or GED
  • proven customer service experience
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer applications
  • ability to learn new software applications
  • strong communication skills
  • good organizational skills
  • ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • compliance with health and safety protocols including COVID-19 and influenza vaccination if mandated
  • successful completion of drug test, tuberculosis test, physical evaluation, and background check
  • willingness to follow safety procedures including use of PPE and emergency protocols

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents
  • extend a warm welcome and greeting
  • offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests
  • ensure community safety protocols are in place
  • contact the Director of Sales or Executive Director to meet with prospective residents and visitors
  • greet and direct potential job candidates and capture candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System
  • answer incoming telephone calls within two to three rings
  • take complete messages and communicate them to recipients
  • offer and provide community overview to callers
  • manage appointments for residents and family members
  • send get well and sympathy cards
  • order flowers and name plates for new residents
  • create and maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
  • support the Director of Sales with inquiry calls and lead tracking
  • perform administrative duties related to resident move-in
  • maintain the front desk and Bistro areas neat and organized
  • check Bistro for cleanliness and restock refreshments
  • ensure music plays throughout the day
  • cover front desk when stepping away
  • promote and adhere to safety procedures and risk management programs
  • maintain resident and team member rosters for emergency procedures
  • champion the Safe Leaving Program
  • respond to emergencies according to policy
  • ensure proper visitor sign-in and sign-out
  • maintain high-risk elopement list
  • update daily resident phone list and rosters
  • prepare meal tickets and process payments
  • organize and distribute mail and newspapers
  • post and display daily menus
  • assist with recruitment data entry
  • monitor and order office supplies
  • track and disperse team member paychecks
  • contribute to team engagement activities and training
  • attend regular meetings and maintain compliance with required training
  • perform other duties as assigned
