Job Requirements

Be genuinely interested in a career at sea and willing to live and work onboard a Disney Cruise Line vessel
willingness to follow and perform safety roles and emergency responsibilities
be willing to uphold safety management responsibilities
willingness to share a confined cabin with other crew members
appreciation for multicultural work and living environment
valid passport and C1/D Seaman's visa, DCL will provide documents
complete a pre-employment medical
obtain a criminal background check
bring approved work shoes
pass drug/alcohol testing
English proficiency

Job Qualifications

Two year hospitality experience with a luxury brand
leadership and concierge experience preferred
knowledge of proper Concierge etiquette
resort or cruise line Concierge experience desired
multilingual abilities preferred including English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Mandarin, Japanese, Hindi, Arabic, Tagalog, Bahasa, Malay
proven record of delivering excellent service
self motivated and able to work autonomously
ability to build relationships with other departments

Job Duties

Service designated Concierge Guests by providing personalized itinerary planning
acquire special bookings such as spa or dining reservations
plan special events and excursions
assist with folio settlement and other guest requests
deliver highest level of personalized service daily
interact actively with guests in assigned staterooms
manage the Concierge Lounge ensuring food and beverage operations run smoothly
monitor cleanliness and maintenance of Concierge Lounge
implement guest requests in a timely manner
foster a fun and safe atmosphere for children
