Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Proven customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer applications
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records
- Capacity to prioritize multiple tasks
- Willingness to comply with health and safety protocols
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Must pass drug test, tuberculosis test, physical evaluation, and background check as required
- Covid-19 and influenza vaccination requirements as mandated by law.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Proven customer service experience and skills
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) and ability to learn new applications
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Good organizational, time management, and follow through abilities
- Accurate record keeping skills
- Good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Job Duties
- Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents, extend a warm welcome, offer beverages, and ensure safety protocols are in place
- Contact the Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to meet prospective residents, families, or visitors and minimize wait times
- Greet potential job candidates and assist with recruitment processes including data entry into the Applicant Tracking System
- Answer incoming telephone and resident calls promptly with an appropriate greeting and take complete messages, communicating them to intended recipients
- Provide community overviews to callers and direct calls to the appropriate team members
- Manage appointments for residents and family members such as hairdresser and transportation
- Monitor and maintain the Bistro area for cleanliness, refreshments, music, and overall pleasant atmosphere
- Partner with the community team to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and manage resident and team member rosters for emergencies
- Update resident phone lists, move-in and move-out registers, and guest logs
- Prepare meal tickets and handle meal count procedures
- Organize and distribute mail, newspapers, and maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
- Assist with office supply management and track team member paychecks
- Participate actively in team meetings and training
- Follow safety procedures and promote risk management programs
- Perform other administrative and customer service duties as assigned.
