Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer literacy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize activities
- Basic experience with administrative and clerical tasks
- Willingness to comply with safety protocols and training
- Ability to interact positively with residents, families, and team members
- May require passing drug tests and health screenings
- Compliance with vaccination mandates as applicable
- Ability to understand and perform safety and emergency procedures
- Available to work flexible hours as needed.
Job Qualifications
- High school degree or GED
- Proven customer service experience and skills
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) and ability to learn new applications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and demonstrate good judgment
- Experience with administrative support and basic office procedures
- Knowledge of safety procedures and risk management practices preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Commitment to upholding values and principles of service.
Job Duties
- Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents, extend a warm welcome and greeting, offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests, and ensure that the community safety protocols are in place
- Contact the Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to meet with prospective residents, families, or visitors and ensure wait times are minimal
- Greet potential candidates interested in learning more about Sunrise careers and job openings and direct candidates to apply online or capture candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System to support recruitment
- Answer incoming telephone calls and resident calls promptly with appropriate greetings and identification
- Take and communicate complete messages with relevant details
- Offer community information to callers and direct calls to appropriate team members
- Manage appointments for residents and family members
- Send get well and sympathy cards as needed
- Order flowers and name plates for new residents and guest meals for move-in days
- Maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
- Assist the Director of Sales with lead tracking and initial inquiry calls
- Maintain cleanliness and supplies in the front desk and Bistro areas, including managing refreshments and music
- Partner with community teams to comply with occupational health and safety regulations, practice safety procedures, and maintain resident and team member rosters relevant to emergency procedures
- Enforce the Safe Leaving Program to ensure resident safety
- Update daily resident phone lists, rosters, move-in and move-out registers, and guest logs
- Prepare and process meal tickets and payments
- Organize mail distribution and ensure proper display of daily menus
- Support recruitment and administrative duties including data entry and supply monitoring
- Participate actively in team engagement, training, and community meetings
- Maintain compliance with all required training and perform additional duties as assigned.
