  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous luxury hotel experience
  • Knowledge of the local area and attractions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods
  • Passion for providing exceptional guest service

Job Qualifications

  • Previous luxury hotel experience is required
  • Knowledge of the surrounding area and all of its attractions
  • Ability to communicate effectively, exceptional organizational skills, an ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours as needed during busy times and high-profile events, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must have the ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
  • Proven ability to engage guests at all levels
  • Must be passionate about providing warm, engaging and personalized service

Job Duties

  • Interact with other departments to ensure that guests’ needs are satisfied
  • Assist in arranging for restaurant reservations and transportation as required by our guests
  • Ensure the delivery of parcels, mail, special deliveries, etc. to guest rooms
  • Maintain a professional, neat, and organized appearance according to Omni Boston Seaport standards
  • Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury or accident
  • Speak to guests in a friendly, warm manner, making them feel welcome at the hotel
  • Proactively work to seek out ways to improve the hotel experience for our guests
  • Be knowledgeable of all hotel amenities and with different points of interest
  • Perform any other duties required by management
