Job Requirements
- High school education
- minimum of two years experience in a related position preferably in hospitality
- ability to add, subtract and multiply
- excellent communication skills including active listening
- ability to speak, write and read English
- proficiency with basic office equipment including computers
- proficient in Office software
- good physical health verified by a health screening including chest x-ray or intradermal test
- criminal record clearance prior to employment
- ability to perform physical requirements of the job
- sincere compassion towards older adults
- genuine concern for physical and emotional needs of seniors and families

Job Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests and visitors
- greet all residents and visitors and provide information
- assist residents, family members and guests with general requests
- arrange tours of the property for visitors
- answer telephones, record information and direct calls
- display knowledge of services and programs at the property
- manage mail operations including sorting and recording packages
- handle business center requests such as photocopying and faxing
- process incoming mail and distribute accordingly
- complete opening and closing duties
- take reservations for dining, activities and transportation accurately
- receive and record maintenance work orders
- monitor Emergency Alert System and respond promptly
- maintain Resident Notice Binder
- arrange parking and retrieval of valet cars
- fulfill personal concierge requests
- maintain neat and orderly reception area
- ensure all signage is accurate and timely
- perform clerical duties for property staff
- update and assemble marketing packets
- respond to residents' concerns and emergencies
- support community marketing efforts
- communicate any resident condition changes
- maintain a safe and secure environment
- encourage teamwork
- support positive and professional image
- perform other duties as assigned
