Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service experience
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and aptitude to learn new applications
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records
- Commitment to safety procedures and resident wellbeing
- Willingness to participate in training and team meetings
- Ability to pass a drug test, tuberculosis test, physical evaluation, and background check
- Covid-19 and influenza vaccination if mandated
- For team members who drive, understanding and signing the driver job description
Job Qualifications
- High school degree or GED
- Proven customer service experience and skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel)
- Ability to learn new software applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Accurate record-keeping skills
- Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Ability to handle multiple priorities effectively
- Commitment to team collaboration and service excellence
Job Duties
- Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents and extend a warm welcome
- Contact the Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to meet with prospective residents, families, or visitors
- Greet potential candidates and direct them to apply online or enter candidate information into Applicant Tracking System
- Answer incoming calls promptly with appropriate community greeting and take and communicate complete messages
- Provide community overviews to callers and direct calls appropriately
- Manage appointments for residents and family members
- Send get well cards and sympathy cards as needed
- Order flowers and name plates for new residents
- Maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
- Support lead tracking and administrative duties related to resident move-ins
- Keep front desk and Bistro areas clean and stocked with refreshments
- Monitor music and ambiance in common areas
- Ensure safety and compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
- Practice safety procedures and maintain resident and team member rosters for emergency use
- Respond to emergencies and monitor guests and residents sign-in/out
- Update various resident and community logs
- Prepare and process meal tickets and money
- Organize and distribute mail and newspapers
- Assist with recruitment and order office supplies
- Participate in team meetings and engagement programs
- Maintain compliance in training and perform other duties as assigned
