Job Requirements
- Be genuinely interested in a career at sea and willing to live and work onboard a Disney Cruise Line vessel
- Be willing to follow and perform safety role emergency responsibilities and associated responsibilities as specified in the ship Assembly Plan
- Be willing to uphold the general safety management responsibilities as specified in the Safety Management System in areas and operations under their control
- If applicable be willing to share a confined cabin with other crew members and appreciative of working and living in a multicultural environment that has strict rules and regulations
- Have a valid passport and C1/D Seaman's visa
- Complete a pre-employment medical
- Obtain a criminal background check
- Bring approved work shoes
Job Qualifications
- Two year hospitality experience with a luxury brand
- Languages preferred include English Spanish French Portuguese Mandarin Japanese Hindi Arabic Tagalog Bahasa Malay
- Leadership and concierge experience preferred with knowledge of proper Concierge etiquette
- Resort or Cruise line Concierge experience desired of affluent clientele
- Must be creative and enjoy crafting a fun and safe atmosphere for children
- Clearly convey information
- Proven record to deliver excellent service
- Self motivated able to work autonomously
- Ability to build relationships amongst other departments
- Prior ship experience preferred
Job Duties
- Service designated Concierge Guests by providing personalized itinerary planning acquiring special bookings planning special events assisting with folio settlement or any other special requests such as spa or dining reservations
- Deliver the highest level of personalized service and actively interact with Concierge Guests daily showcasing integrity and efficiency
- Take full ownership of the Concierge Lounge ensuring all food and beverage aspects are well run and implemented
- Monitor cleanliness and maintenance of the Concierge Lounge ensuring it is up to show quality standards
- Craft an environment and perform service that is second to none ensuring all Guest requests are implemented in a timely manner
