Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or team members of the organization
- demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- have a basic level of a skill and can follow written or verbal instructions
- basic technical skills to complete a few repetitive and well-defined duties
- basic knowledge of the organization in order to answer basic questions
- patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm
- willingness to handle residents based on maturity level
- meet state or provincial health related requirements
- desire to work and interact with older adults and their families
- excellent organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities
- working knowledge of basic accounting terminology and processes

Job Duties
- Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate EP
- transfers a caller to an EP's voice mailbox when the associate is unavailable
- greets and directs visitors to the company
- takes and retrieves messages for various EP's
- provides callers with information such as community address, directions to the community location, community fax numbers, company website, and other related information
- receives, sorts and forwards incoming mail
- maintains and routes publications
- coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
- assists in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies
- assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing and collating
- provides tours and collects initial inquiry information when needed
- performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
