Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in customer service roles
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently
  • Willingness to follow safety protocols and compliance standards
  • Ability to work part-time hours
  • Pass pre-employment drug test
  • Meet vaccination requirements as mandated by law

Job Qualifications

  • High school degree or GED
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel, and ability to learn new applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and demonstrate good judgment
  • Accurate record keeping skills
  • Commitment to teamwork and community service
  • Understanding of safety procedures and compliance requirements

Job Duties

  • Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents and provide beverages
  • Contact the Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to meet prospective residents, families, or visitors
  • Greet potential job candidates and assist with recruitment by directing them to apply or entering their information into the Applicant Tracking System
  • Answer incoming telephone and resident calls promptly with proper greetings and take complete messages
  • Offer community overviews to callers and direct calls appropriately
  • Manage residents' appointments such as hairdresser and transportation
  • Send get well and sympathy cards to residents and families as needed
  • Order flowers and name plates for new residents and guest meals for move-ins
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of front desk and Bistro area including snacks and music
  • Support the Safe Leaving Program by monitoring entry and exit of residents and executing related safety procedures
  • Update resident and team member rosters, guest logs, and meal ticket accounting
  • Assist with recruitment data entry and general administrative tasks
  • Participate in team meetings, training, and engagement programs
  • Comply with health, safety, and risk management policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
