Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Considerate, neat, well-groomed and professional appearance
- Experience in administration functions
- Ability to answer phones politely and professionally
- Organized and able to work well with others
- Polite and considerate to residents, visitors, co-workers and management
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to sit for extended periods
- Ability to function effectively in a busy environment and multitask
- Willingness to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Attendance at all required in-services and staff meetings
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in administration functions
- Ability to answer phones in a polite and professional manner
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well with others as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Duties
- Transfers calls or takes messages as appropriate in a courteous, friendly and helpful manner
- Fills out and logs service request forms for residents and/or staff
- Monitors and greets visitors to the community
- Keeps front desk and lobby area clean and neat at all times
- Sells meal tickets and accounts for by payroll deduction or personal check
- Ensures the security of the building
- Monitors resident sign-in and sign-out log and the visitor registration log
- Periodically checks entrances/exits of the building to ensure community is secure
- Attends in-services and staff meetings as required
- Assists with coordinating van schedule for residents
- Follows confidentiality policies regarding release of resident information
- Performs supportive office functions for all departments including filing, typing, and making copies
- Completes all other duties as assigned
