Job Requirements
- High school degree or GED
- Proven customer service experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer applications
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Experience in administrative or front desk roles preferred
- Willingness to participate in required training and compliance programs
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Must pass pre-employment drug test and health screenings
- Covid-19 and influenza vaccination if required by law
- Ability to sign driver job description if driving a Sunrise vehicle.
Job Qualifications

- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) and Sunrise applications with ability to learn new systems

Job Duties
- Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents, extend a warm welcome and greeting, offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests, and ensure community safety protocols are in place
- Contact the Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to meet with prospective residents, families, or visitors and ensure wait times are minimal
- Greet potential candidates interested in learning more about Sunrise careers and job openings, direct candidates to apply online or capture candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System
- Answer incoming telephone calls and resident calls within two to three rings with appropriate community greeting and identification
- Take complete messages with pertinent information and communicate messages to intended recipients
- Offer community overview to callers, determine appropriate forwarding and notify the caller
- Manage appointments for residents and family members such as hairdresser and transportation
- Send get well cards to residents in the hospital
- Order Memory Flower for residents who have passed away
- Send sympathy cards to families as needed
- Order flowers and name plates for new residents prior to move-in
- Order guest meals for resident and family on move-in day
- Create and maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
- Support the Director of Sales by handling inquiry calls and building interest in Sunrise Senior Living
- Assist Director of Sales with Customer Relationship Management lead tracking
- Perform other administrative duties related to resident move-in
- Maintain desk and entry area neat and organized
- Check Bistro area regularly for cleanliness, ensure fresh coffee, fruit, popcorn, and other snacks are available, maintain popcorn machine and restock
- Keep music playing throughout the day
- Ensure desk coverage when stepping away
- Partner with community team to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promote risk management policies, and adhere to safety rules
- Practice safety procedures including PPE, fire extinguishers, Safety Data Sheets, and Lockout Tagout
- Maintain resident and team member rosters and emergency schedules
- Champion safe leaving program and ensure residents sign in and out
- Maintain a high-risk elopement list with photographs
- Update resident phone lists, move-in/out registers, guest logs
- Prepare and tally meal tickets
- Collect and process meal ticket money per internal controls
- Organize and distribute mail and newspapers
- Post daily menu
- Assist with recruitment and office supplies
- Track and distribute paychecks
- Participate actively in team goals and meetings
- Maintain compliance with required training
- Perform other duties as assigned.
