Job Requirements
- High school degree or GED
- Proven customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer applications
- Ability to handle multiple priorities

- Must be able to pass drug test, tuberculosis test, physical evaluation, and background check where required

Job Qualifications
- High school degree or GED
- Proven customer service experience and skills
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) and Sunrise applications, with the ability to learn new applications
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills

- Familiarity with safety procedures and risk management is preferred.
Job Duties
- Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents, extend a warm welcome and greeting, offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests, and ensure that the community safety protocols are in place
- Contact the Director of Sales, Executive Director, or Department Coordinator to meet with prospective residents, families, or visitors and ensure wait times are minimal
- Greet potential candidates interested in learning more about Sunrise careers and job openings and direct candidates to apply online or capture their information in the Applicant Tracking System
- Answer incoming telephone calls and resident calls promptly with the appropriate community greeting message and take complete messages with pertinent information to communicate to the intended recipient
- Offer and provide a community overview to callers, determine call direction, and notify callers of transfers
- Manage appointments for residents and family members, such as hairdresser and transportation
- Send get well cards to residents in the hospital, order Memory Flowers for residents who have passed, and send sympathy cards to families as needed
- Order flowers and name plates for new residents prior to move-in and guest meals for move-in day
- Create and maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
- Support the Director of Sales with initial inquiry calls and customer relationship management database entry
- Keep front desk and Bistro areas tidy, check for cleanliness, maintain refreshments and music
- Partner with the team to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, practice safety procedures including use of PPE and fire extinguishers, and maintain resident, team member rosters and emergency procedures
- Respond to emergencies according to policies and ensure all guests and residents sign in and out
- Update resident phone lists and logs daily, prepare and account for meal tickets and payments, organize and distribute mail and newspapers, maintain daily menu board
- Assist with recruitment processes through data entry and administrative support
- Participate actively in team engagement programs, attend regular meetings, and maintain compliance with required trainings.
