Job Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED
  • proven customer service experience
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office and Sunrise applications
  • ability to follow safety procedures and regulations
  • capacity to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • willingness to participate in required training
  • compliance with drug test, tuberculosis test, physical evaluation, and background check
  • COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination if mandated
  • ability to perform job duties including lifting and standing for extended periods as applicable
  • if driving a Sunrise vehicle, adherence to safety and regulatory compliance with a signed Driver job description

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents
  • extend a warm welcome and greeting
  • offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests
  • ensure community safety protocols are in place
  • contact the DOS, ED, or Department Coordinator to meet prospective residents, families, or visitors
  • greet potential job candidates and direct them to apply online or capture candidate information
  • answer incoming telephone calls and resident calls promptly
  • take complete messages and communicate to intended recipients
  • provide community overviews to callers and direct calls appropriately
  • manage appointments for residents and family members such as hairdresser and transportation
  • send get well and sympathy cards to residents and families
  • order Memory Flowers for deceased residents
  • order flowers and name plates for new residents
  • order guest meals for resident and family move-in day
  • maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
  • support DOS with inquiry calls and lead tracking database entry
  • perform general administrative duties for resident move-ins
  • keep desk and entry area neat and organized
  • check Bistro cleanliness and stock refreshments
  • maintain and clean popcorn machine
  • ensure music plays throughout the day
  • ensure front desk coverage when away
  • ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • practice safety procedures including PPE and fire safety
  • maintain resident and team member rosters and schedules
  • champion safe leaving program and emergency responses
  • monitor sign-in/out of guests and residents
  • maintain high-risk elopement list with photographs
  • update resident phone lists, move-in/out registers, and guest logs
  • prepare and tally meal tickets and collect money per procedures
  • organize and distribute mail and newspapers
  • post daily menu
  • maintain resident forms for credits
  • assist BOC/HR with recruitment and data entry
  • monitor and order office supplies
  • track and disperse team member paychecks
  • participate actively as a team member
  • demonstrate the Team Member Credo
  • serve residents and guests through the Principles of Service
  • contribute to engagement programs
  • attend team meetings
  • maintain required training compliance
  • perform other duties as assigned
