Job Requirements
- High School degree or GED
- Proven customer service experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer applications
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Experience working with seniors or in a healthcare or senior living environment preferred
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Willingness to comply with safety protocols and training requirements
- Ability to participate actively in team engagement and training
- Consent to required drug and health tests
- Compliance with all applicable vaccination requirements
- Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends if needed
- Physical ability to perform administrative duties and manage front desk-related tasks
- If driving Sunrise vehicles, sign driver job descriptions and adhere to safety regulations.

- Valid driver agreement for those operating Sunrise vehicles, understanding essential safety duties and regulations.
Job Duties
- Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents, extend a warm welcome and greeting, offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests, ensure community safety protocols are in place
- Contact the Director of Sales or Executive Director to meet with prospective residents, families, or visitors and ensure wait times are minimal
- Greet potential candidates interested in learning more about Sunrise careers and direct them to apply online or capture candidate information into the Applicant Tracking System to initiate recruitment
- Answer incoming telephone and resident calls promptly with appropriate community greeting and identification
- Take complete messages with pertinent information and communicate them to the intended recipients
- Provide community overview to callers, determine appropriate forwarding of calls, and notify the caller accordingly
- Manage appointments for residents and family members such as hairdresser or transportation
- Send get well cards to hospitalized residents and order Memory Flowers for residents who have passed away
- Send sympathy cards to families or responsible parties as needed
- Order flowers and name plates for new residents prior to move-in
- Order guest meals for resident and family on move-in day
- Create and maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
- Support the Director of Sales by handling initial inquiry calls and maintaining lead tracking database
- Keep front desk and Bistro areas clean, stocked, and well-organized
- Monitor and replenish Bistro refreshments, ensure music is playing, and maintain a pleasant atmosphere
- Collaborate with community team to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations including personal protective equipment and emergency protocols
- Maintain resident and team member rosters, schedules, and emergency procedures documentation
- Promote Safe Leaving Program and ensure residents’ safety at all times
- Respond to emergencies according to policies
- Manage guest and resident sign-in and sign-out procedures
- Update resident phone lists, move-in/out registers, and guest logs daily
- Prepare and process meal tickets and tally counts
- Organize and distribute mail and community newspapers
- Post daily menu on the board
- Assist recruitment process with data entry and administrative duties
- Monitor and order office supplies
- Track and distribute team member paychecks
- Participate actively in team meetings, training, engagement programs, and contribute positively to team goals and spirit
- Maintain compliance with all required training and regulatory requirements
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
